"Bill Sooter and Bob DiCorpo treated us to a great day in the sun.

They took us for a 30 mile drive through Middletown and Portsmouth, Rhode Island. I thought I knew this territory but they introduced me to numerous roads and vistas.

Over the Mount Hope Bridge and we rolled into the Herreshoff and America's Cup Museums. Generations of skilled, innovative engineering and design are in evidence in the studios and restored craft. Sound familiar?

A trip to "Tweets" for lunch tanked us up for the ride home.
