McManus Chicken BBQ

Save the date, August 2nd. You won't be sorry. Once again, Greg and Christine McManus will be hosting the TYP356ne for a chicken barbeque plus all the fixin's. Members have raved in the past of Greg's outstanding chicken, done on his homemade barbeque pit. Add to that Christine's homemade blueberry pie and you have the makings of a culinary delight.

The McManus home is located in Brookfield, MA, which is just west of Sturbridge. I will be posting directions at a future date and also be scheduling a couple of meeting places for anyone interested in driving together as a group. In a couple of weeks I will also be asking for a commitment from members and co-members, since our hosts need to plan the meal for a certain number of guests.

Since the call has been issued far and wide to fellow 356 enthusiasts within New England, accommodations have been made for those traveling with bedrolls.

The Lord Greg and Mistress Christine from the Brookfields are providing an afternoon respite for those in need of a break from the morning's invigorating drive.

Beverages along with the Lord Greg’s succulent all you can eat roasted chicken, salad, vegetable and for desert the Mistress Christine’s renowned homemade blueberry pie and ice cream made from only local blueberries.

Event is rain or shine in consideration of the ultimate sacrifice the chickens have made for this date.

Time: 12pm to 1pm however stragglers are always welcome & food is plentiful. Earlier arrivals are always welcome and may be asked to assist the chef.
