Great Bay Ferry Drive and Ride

Location: Portsmouth, NH.

Well guys and gals now that we have gotten past the July 4th festivities, it's time to look forward to our Sunday, July 25th outing. We have planned a great day. After a leisurely drive to Portsmouth, NH, we have scheduled a Harbor Cruise on the Heritage a 60 foot boat that holds 49 people. I have put on my credit card a reservation for 24 people, so I need to have a count of those going on the cruise by July 12. When we arrive at the cruise, everyone will be responsible for paying their own bill. The cruise fee is $17.00 per person, senior discount rate is $15.00.

The cruise is scheduled to leave at 12:00 noon for a wonderful Harbor tour which lasts approximately 1-1/2 hours. It will be a great time for one and all. The waters are supposed to be calm for all of you land lubbers. Parking is available at a municipal lot in close proximity to the pier.

After a delightful cruise there are several options. One option is to stay in Portsmouth, next door to the pier, to dine at the Oar House Restaurant. Or you can join in a tour down some less traveled routes to Newburyport (approximately 1/2 hour) and lunch at the Black Cow Restaurant. I have actually scheduled a reservation for 24 people (which will gladly be increased) at 3PM. The menu looks great. Appetizers are from $5 to $15 and entrees are from $19 to $32.
