Lunch in Nashville

Date/Time: Thursday May 20th thru Monday 24th, 2010.
Location: Nashville, Tennessee.

A 356 "Spring Dust Off Run" to Nashville, Tennessee to join the "Tennessee Tubs" for their annual spring BBQ on Saturday May 22nd.

I will be heading south via the interstate highways early on Thursday morning May 20th with a first night's stop in Roanoke, Virginia. On Friday the Convertible D will knock off a few hundred miles of the twistys on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Then we'll tackle North Carolina and Tennessee's "Tail of The Dragon" and continue on to Nashville for the night.

Saturday the BBQ will be held in Kingston Springs, Tennessee (just west of Nashville). By Saturday evening I'll park the Porsche for the night in Knoxville. Sunday we'll knock off the miles between Knoxville and Scranton, Pennsylvania. By mid day on Monday May 24th we'll be back on home turf in southern New Hampshire.

This will be a 5 day run of roughly 2,400 miles including a couple of 650-700 mile days of doing exactly what the 356 Porsche was designed for... spirited driving.
