Administration

  1. The Meeting Minutes from September 13, 2005 were approved as submitted.
  2. Jerry Tulis reported that there is $2,030.05 in the Treasury which should be adequate to take the Club through the year-end events and for the required deposit for the Winter Meeting on January 8, 2006.
  3. Bob DiCorpo, Membership Chairman, reported that there are 125 paid up members, the largest number in the Club’s history.

Scheduling and Events

  1. The proposed event at Reitzel Porsche in Norwell is on hold until we hear more details from them.
  2. A new event with the 912 Club in CT has been scheduled for October 29th. Complete details are on the Club website.

Old Business

A donation to the Hospice in Providence, Rhode Island was made in memory of John Merrifield.

New Business

  1. Len Cannizzaro will send a reminder that the election of new officers will take place in early November. The results will be formally announced at the January meeting.
  2. A location for the December Board Meeting was discussed. The Papa Razzi in Wellesley was decided upon. It will take place on December 6th.
  3. Dave Willard has requested to be replaced as Tech Chairman due to other commitments. Tom Gentz has volunteered to take his place.
  4. Bill Collins is organizing a trip to the Porsche/VW Show on February 25th, 2006 in Los Angeles. Exact dates and times will be posted on the website.
     

The November Board Meeting will be held on November 1, 2005 at the CBT Offices at 110 Canal Street, Boston, MA.

With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
