912 Maine Drive (1 through 8 of 8)
The 912/356 club members enjoyed a drive up to Maine to visit Foreign Intrigue and Mainely Custom by Design establishments and see what they had to offer. While it was a very hot day and Rt. 95 was very crowded we all arrived at Foreign Intrigue no worse for wear. While Michael Grishman was out sailing his associate Casey gave a tour of the place and helped each member locate parts. Foreign Intrigue had thousand of parts. The members bought numerous parts and all enjoyed their time at Foreign Intrigue in Berwick Maine. The clubs then proceeded over to Mainely Custom by Design, Inc and were hosted by Bob and Laura Futterrer. Bob explained what his business was about, the parts they manufactured and again, members bought numerous products/parts. A special "Thanks" to Bob and Laura for the ice cold drinks. After the club concluded it's business Bob took us over to a neighbor and their business. Bill Peach, owner of "Thompson Hill Metalcraft", which does sheet metal restoration gave us a overview of his operation. Some club members then proceed on their tour up to Freeport for a free outdoor concert featuring Lesley Gore. A special thanks for Palmer Pearson for organizing the drive and inviting the members of the typ356ne club. Both clubs had a terrific day and everyone should check out the web sites of the Business we visited.
