The first 2006 Technical Session for the Typ356ne club was held on February 18, at the home of Tom and Mary Lou Gentz in Rhode Island. This was a sensational Tech session conducted by Tom who is the club's Technical Chairman. Tom gave a "hands on" demonstration of Gold Cad plating and powder coating to the eleven members who were present. Several members also used the "Bead blasting equipment" to prepare their parts which they brought with them to the session. Tom provided detailed written instructions to each club member. Of course attendees were also treated to coffee, donuts and bagels in the morning and a feast of R.I. clam chowder, chicken sausage sandwiches, lobster rolls, dessert and a variety of soft drinks. Our thanks go out to Tom and Mary Lou for their hospitality.
