It was a balmy 75 degrees with deep blue skies as 16 TYP356ne Porsches gathered in the Lowe's parking lot in Raynham, MA on Saturday May 1st. Group Leader, Norm Brust, called the drivers together to cover the highlights of his carefully crafted 48 mile drive past cranberry bogs and quaint south coast villages to the Bourne Bridge. Then, on to Greg and Christine McManus' lovely new retirement home in Pocassett.
At precisely 10:00 AM the Brust's B Cab guided by his co-pilot (wife) Jan headed South at a brisk pace. Arriving on Shore Rd, Pocasset, we pulled into an empty lot across from the McManus home for "TYP356ne Parking".
Greg was at work in his new outdoor kitchen preparing a mouth watering clam boil luncheon while Christine was working on the fixins'. It was a great day with Porsche friends for an expertly crafted Cape Cod luncheon .... transported by old 356s.
Thanks to Norm, Jan, Greg and Christine for a great kick off for our 2010 driving season.
