Thanks to Dick Chiasson for leading the drive from Wal-Mart, Exit 18, Bellingham, MA to the Vanilla Bean in Promfret, CT.
Over 15 cars drove from Bellingham and we met more than five cars from Southern CT, led by Craig and Amy Bush from Mystic, CT, at the Vanilla Bean.
Bob Siegel, driving a 1957 A Coupe with the original paint, said he remembered driving the roads to the Vanilla Bean years ago, and loved it today!
Not only did our members have a great drive, but the Vanilla Bean serves a wonderful lunch from soup to burritos. The weather was perfect for a nice country drive.
